USGA Close Mown Greens is our top quality 'greens turf ' specification using imported rootzone. The specification is only suitable for golf and bowling greens as it requires regular skilled maintenance. This fine textured turf has a dense close mown sward to produce the perfect putting and bowling surface.
The main difference to our standard 'greens turf' is it is mown down to 8mm and managed as if it were a golf green throughout the production period, facilitiating immediate play.
